Thank you for the kind note. I haven't a clue how to get photos up here. But you can see some of the artifacts at www.newarkmuseum.org, and click on the Nicholas and Alexandra info.

Wiley, you are a dear person,
but how can we get that Maple by border control? Every time I go back and forth to Montreal customs searches get worse. In the airport in Montreal, I saw them harass a short, chubby old lady, clearly a grandmother,of some ethnic origin, because she had food in her suitcase. The drug sniffing dogs found it. Don't they know EVERY grandmother carries food in her suitcase. We don't want our kids to starve, no matter where they live.

I'll have to post about my tree.

I'm sorry about your biting it.

We lost a tree one year to heavy winds nwhich damaged the roof heavily. We received more money for the tree from the insurance company than for the roof repairs.

Cynthia
That is so very sad, I am sorry really. Out of all the trees in the forest, for me if I lost my 2 maples and birch from beside my deck at the front of the house I'd be just as heartbroken as you must be. I,m at my Cathy's in Toronto, no trees here either, I can't wait to get home again to my isolation. Come visit and we'll get you folks a tree to plant there. Hey, how about I start growing you a maple in a pot and you just transplant it
