Kooka - I have always loved this quote from the role of the Marschallin in the opera
Der Rosenkavalier: "How can it really be that I was once the little girl and that one day I will be the old woman?...How can it be, for after all, I always remain the same." I enjoyed this post. I understand how you feel. Although I was one of those that thought I would never grow up fast enough. But even though I grew up and am very rapidly approaching the "old" woman, I still seem to be the same inside as I was when a young girl.

Kooka, its weird isn't it. I still feel 18
even though I just turned 29 and have a family to support. I guess I will always feel 18. No hope in sight so far.

Clever Kooka, the body ages...we don't. My mom is 72 but she says she feels no different than 15, except for her body is giving out.
I understand now.
