Unfortunately, starr4all,
given the finite number of DNA labs and the infinite and growing number of DNA tests (criminal and civil, paternity and maternity, and more) to be done, this must be true. Hopefully, with the growing need, more labs will open, even if it is just to cash in on the need, and many more innocent people incarcerated will be set free.

From what I've read about this sort of information is that unfortunately there is a backlog on the DNA tests. So many innocent people behind bars that could easily be released.
