At this time, one of the gifts I need most is money...
...so I agree with you about the gift certificate.
However, I also like to receive other kinds of gifts as well.
When I shop for people, I try to do so in a thoughtful way so that I will end up getting them something they can really use--and it's none of your mother's business what you buy for your hubby and when you buy it.
In my opinion, you're doing plenty for that man!
