Telynor and Majroj, come to Boston
for a visit and I'll cook you both a meal. We'll make our own holiday.

Ca88, I thought of just showing up
all dressed to the hilt and acting like we belonged there, or gather the infidels and storm the gates, but that wouldn't be in the spirit of Christmas would it?

Sounds like its time for the private citizens to organise a takeover of their own!

Yeah, I do know what you mean. As someone who does not actively practice christmas (no tree, no lights, this is not my tradition), I tend to loathe the end of the year hoo-harawww. So I just make sure that I can cook a meal that both J and I can agree on and leave it at that. At least it sounds like you have some options there in Boston.

Heck, the good local little places are going bye-bye here!

And all the chians put in crappy half-sizers run by the same family, whose ideas of cleanliness and management...well, let's say they need to get a life somewhere else.

Maybe Boston!

(haha)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
