Dark one--I lived above a newspaper saver; she had newspapers stacked
to the ceiling in the living room and in other rooms. Even in the bedroom she stacked newspapers. Her friend told me she would stand on those newspapers and get close as possible to her ceiling, listening for action from my bedroom. At least she used those papers to good purpose.

Neat is good and so are yellow siding houses ... hee hee
Tools are great too if one knows how to use them. I think hoarding is rather fascinating :)

Anybody want to know what I paid for natural gas three years ago. I still have every utility bill ever sent to me. I have no idea why I save them.

There are far more hoarders out there ...
than meets the eye. Incredible! These folks I speak of, bless their huge hearts, hoard a ridiculous amount of STUFF! I think I counted approx. 8 measuring cups in one cupboard alone! Not including their back room, attic, mini sheds and myriad boxes which house many hidden treasures. I throw stuff away on a monthly house sweep ~ gotta keep things neat and organized. Perhaps my own OCD is revealing itself...YIKES!

oooh. hoarders. I know a few....
Scary people. I know a girl that has 12 electric mixers. Only one works, and it shorts out. It's good to be a purger, Ariala.

Interesting .....
I know the pop top thingy too ~ The Zimmermans collect them too but give them away to be made into wheelchairs .... So at least they don't hang around or they would be swimming in a sea of pop tops (tabs) ...
Thanks for sharing ~ it can be quite frustrating but I try to laugh it off and enjoy their comapany instead ...hee hee hee

I know a FEW hoarders!
My mother for example has been saving those little "pop tops" from soda cans for about 10 years now because she heard they can be used as "points" for dialysis. She doesn't need dialysis, but you "never know" when she might. She must have about 20 garbage bags full of them by now. This is just one of the many items she pack rats away.
My husband does the same thing with tools. YIKES
