Forgive me, ladies,
for being such a doting auntie. Another blog is coming and it's even worse.  But I'm sure you all can relate in some way, eh?

JanesO - Those are wonderful scriptures to help Caleb paraphrase into
his own vocabulary so that he can understand the meaning and to memorize so that he will always have them at his recall.   I always loved working with little children in a church setting.

So true, Justso.  There's such innocence in these children, and they're so completely uninhibited.  As ever, thanks for your kind comments!

Jane
This was precious. I have been cuddling and my Husband (Papa) has been reading the Christmas stories from Luke and Matt to a 5 year old Samuel. Aren't they the most precious little things. You can see the face of God in their eyes. I really enjoyed this post.

well lets pray that he continues to have
role models with good standards. He sounds like a wonderful gift from God!

Thanks Uni
I think you're right about kids.  I know Caleb really comes out with some hum dinger comments, and has since he was about 3 years old.  His little mind is working over time to try and comprehend things -- particularly spiritual matters.  He told his mom when he was about 4 that "when I grow up I want to be just like Pastor Paul" (our senior pastor).

that's a lovely visual.
Kudos to Caleb for being so bright. I think children understand more than we give them credit for, their minds are yet unpolluted. If we could all have faith like a child!

Thanks Ann
Yes, I think my sister is a pretty incredible mother/teacher/nurse, etc.  But again, I'm biased!
