Quirky, I read you but why do you worry about comments?
You have three blogs in the top 100 you are being read, just because no one comments doesn't mean anything. I read a lot of posts but only comment when I want to, like now. Cheer up I think there is a guy in Hoboken named Carl who reads you everyday or is that Floyd in Detroit wha has a crush on you, I forget

Poopy, I printed out your last few blogs in this category to
read at work. I don't have much time at home to read and sometimes at work, I get a few spare minutes and I pull the printed pages out and read. I plan to do that tomorrow (I actually printed them out Thursday night to read today-Friday but I got too busy.) I am looking forward to tomorrow to be able to read them. After work, we're having our Christmas party so I won't be able to comment til later on at night. Don't think you're not being read...at least by me!! I'm also dying to read a future B.Q.'s next post!!

I remember your post. I was just curious to see what kind of disparity there was, and really had no idea it would be that uneven. As for ranking high, my blog today, which I consider to be one of the best things I have ever written, has been commented on by only two people and is currently about #40 on the MPT.

I posted something to the same effect a few weeks ago. I don't know if you remember - then I had a day off all commenting bothing making fresh comments and responding. It does us no good to count such things on a tit for tat basis. People who don't leave as many comments don't appreciate the effort it takes ... or perhaps it is that they do and don't have the time or inclination.
It is big like having dinner with some friends - some friends you cook more for and vice versa. Best not to count.. I think that given your post ranks highly that you must take that into account too
