Christmas in Australia
Working along in a pair of shorts, in the  middle of summer with the sun blazing down and a blob of sunscreen on the nose, whistling "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..."; eating salads for christmas lunch and siesta in the hot afternoon and on Boxing Day watching cricket and a billion yachts try and squeeze their way out of Sydney Harbour for the big yacht race to Hobart.

How you all doing today?  Busy with work.

Have you finished your Christmas bits yet? Cards & presents done

Where are you spending Christmas? (Family)etc... Family.

What’s a normal Christmas day for you? Home opening gifts, maybe a trip outdoors somewhere.

What’s your Christmas dinner consisting of? A dinner with more desserts.

Hope you had a good day.

My dad used to teach me to gurgle

with brine for a sore throat.

Hope this works for you.

Ann.

Christmas
I'm a bit down this morning - hubby decided to pitch one of his fits yesterday.  We( familey ) draws names so shopping wasen't all that hard. At the every thing's a doller store - LOL. This afternoon we'll go up to my daughters house for the get together.  Christmas Day ? moste likely I'll be pounding away on this computer. Unless my younger son suggests that he'd like to take us out to dinner at a resteraunt. Years gone by  we use to have ham and mashed potatos and every thing else associated with a holiday feast.

Christmas bits

Christmas in Canada includes:

1. Shopping at the last minute - no time with work pressures - if nothing else I plan on smiling at everyone who looks cranky.

2. 20 for dinner - which sounds daunting but it means all my family around me and cooking up a storm which I love.

3. Beef wellington, stuff pork tenderloin, roast veg, garlic mash, roast potatoes stuffed with goat cheese, turnip with apple, asparagus and my mom's choice goodie cookies for dessert.

4. Italian Christmas Eve - a feast of 13 dishes (to symbolize Christ and the 12 apostles) with my son's in-laws who are now good friends of mine.

5. A precious new baby that my son and his wife presented all of us with a few weeks ago. Although I am choosing to be known as YoYoMa (long story) rather than Gran, he is SO CUTE ! If I could figure how the heck to post a pic here I'd show you.

6. Being at peace.
