beachbelle,

I didn't "not follow him"--because he didn't give me a choice or chance to follow him...if he had, I would've probably gone anywhere just to be with him.

Good post
But here is my question. In not following him did you choose to let him go?

Quirky!

mystic,
Yes I do believe a person can have more than one soul mate. And all I can say about that is "Thank God!"

word.smith,
yes it's real, the ugly truth and nothing but.

Loanlady, thanks for reading!
It's been more than half a year since I first posted this, so I figured there were always new people who might want to read it.

Great post! Can you have more than one soul mate?
I get this feeling twice a week.

Is this for real?  It sucked me in.

Quirky I wasn't on here the first time around but now I am going to check a couple times in suspense to hear the next part.

Reminds me of the song " Love is a Drug"

ACK!
I'm here to say that it is most definitely not an impossibility!

posted by Wildwoman_Laloba on December 16, 2004 at 9:24 AM | link to this | reply

I don't think it is impossible, Perky.........depending upon

one's definition of relationship and so long as you do not expect it to last for ever.

Sorry if my thoughts make you sad.

Wham,
Wow. Your comment makes me a bit sad. Not that I don't agree with what you're saying...just that I guess I still hold onto hope that a loving, caring relationship is not an impossibility.

PERKY

I missed this one the first time around.

I think we enjoy the delusion of feeling like we are in love, and that is why we allow it to happen.  I have gotten to the point that I accept that delusion is like taking a drug, and like any drug, I expect the effects to wear off.

I consider "Love" to be like a pain killer....it numbs the loneliness, and when it wears off the ache is still there.  So, I don't really use men, I use the delusion, and I try not to let the insturments of my delusion hurt me anymore.

Passionflower,
truer words were never spoken. It's wise to always remember the distinction between fantasy love and a real relationship.

No...but there is an elixir you can drink...however I must caution you...it is very powerful and has certain side effects.
