I understand.
The phones in the classrooms still boggles the mind. Being from a third world country and all, you know?

Word., all classrooms in Des Moines have had telephones for ten years.
Thank you for your contribution.  I'm looking forward to getting help at college time.  If I pull support from her now, she'll pull the kids college fund.

I know it works out for you,
but it still seems somewhat unfair to be giving over to your ex money that she shouldn't be getting. Maybe I'm looking at it from an extreme point of view, but that happens when I think that it is $42,700.00 in my currency.  Oh and another minor detail, you have a PHONE in your classroom or is that a cell phone?

How are the girls taking it?  I mean regarding the books being taken and being told that they would be arrested for going back?  I know it's been taken care now and they can go but I would think it was cruel the way the superintendent reacted.  I'm glad things worked out for you.

And yes Homegirl...
Some of the administrators up here need their eyes poked out!

Kingmi!
Welcome to the Des Moines Public Schools! My family and I feld as soon as we were finacially able which is probably partly why Des Moines would not sign the papers. Their less than glowing educational program coupled with their negative discipline practices and budget woes is forcing folks like you to skirt the system and get the hell out of Dodge. yeah, the ex amy have had a hand in it, but I'm willing to bet that Mr. Witherspoon has a mandate on file to deny open enrollments for quite some time.

you handled that well
I would have gone to the school and poked out his eyes!

Ca881, All she had to do was sign and send. It's behind us now. Thanks.

Taps, I may be a bit too detached, but you have to know the woman.

A & PF, mine is the more serious problem. But I think it is under control.

It sounds like a complicated and serious problem. I hope things get worked out best for the kids.

Wow...that was intense. The worse thing I go through is I got an overdue
notice from the city of Missouri that I didn't pay the license fee on one of my three cats.  I did, but they are three months behind at City Hall.  Hmmm...which problem is more serious, yours or mine?
