The President of the United States is not the man who controls the money in our country. That is the U.S. House of Representatives. All the money issues start there. There are many, many Democrats in that body. If blame is to be laid on someone, the Congress, House and Senate, have to bear a large part of the burden here. I think the liberals are making a case for some ultra-massive defense spending. They are going to get themselves between a rock and a hard place!

It doens't matter if he wrote the question or coached or whatever
it was a question that needed to be asked every soldier deserves the best and the same equipment. You don't send them into battle after almost two years at war with no protection. We waste money on military spending on garbage, the armor is not garbage. How would you feel if your son was on a Humvee that was not armored and he lost arms or legs or his life?Even the president says the question should have been asked.

Why didn't dubya provide the needed armor with
the huge amount of money that we have already granted him? He has already misused funds and does not deserve a penny more. We deserve an explanation of why he hasn't already given the tropps the epuipment they need. Republicans, including you, spin every wich way but loose over the simplest questions.
