f4t, Yes, good thoughts. Personall, I am forced to lie every day. I do it
with glee. I tell international students that they must memorize the states and capitals, I tell them that they have to study science and geography, as well as math and reading. I lie this way because I do not know another way to get them to learn English. Not to criticise anyone else, OK? But what I see happening around me is deliberate deductive teaching techniques, panning out very little in the final analysis. And this is me trying to make somehting of myself here on earth. It's all the interference I get for doing it that I do not understand. A pariah with a good plan! Great post!
