I never knowingly click on distribution lists. Sometimes, the headlines are tricks, then I feel cheated that I have wasted a click on a list instead of an interesting post. I don't feel competitive about Blogit; I would like to earn enough to pay the monthly fee, but that's about it. Don't much care who does or doesn't read me, except for a few bloggers I think highly of.
I'm also tired of the seems-like-a-million comments and thank-yous for each one. I read an interesting post, and by the time I've read through 25 or 30 comments to be sure mine isn't going to be a duplicate, I've forgotten what I wanted to say. Lately, I'm reading more and commenting less. But, I just read your post and commented, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about after all. Just couldn't resist.
