Do we all hear voices? If so is that the beginning of what you're...
experiencing? For a brife period of time, I was very young, at times I could not turn down the sounds in my head. My thoughts were just so loud. That does not happen now but it makes me wonder now as I read your blogs.

Actually, when I hear voices I'm not actually "hearing" them. By that I mean my ear drums aren't picking up vibrations. My brain thinks its hearing something, and that is why when I plug my ears I can still "hear" it

I don't have "voices" per se
but I do have a lot of noise clouding my thoughts. I posted about it a couple of times too. Most people do have that nonstop chatter in their heads.
I try very hard, several times a day to just shut out all thoughts, noises and other distractions in my mind. I believe that God/Creator/Source is "heard" in that silence. Sometimes I am successful. When I am successful it is total heaven, if only for a few minutes.

I wish ear plugs would work David. The problem is that when I plug my ears the voices remain.

I use ear plugs a lot
When I meditate or read, they are a must have. I like drowning out all the outside noise. Plugging my ears is so 2nd nature, I do it a lot!
