Linking God to the word "Hate"
God is love! Hate is not real, but it is error consciousness, or thoughts outside of God Mind. People insist on always giving God (Spirit) human characteristics; they are about as bad as some people think of Jehovah God - capable of human emotions!
God is Spirit - Genesis 1:26: "Then God said let us (Father, Son (The Christ) and the Holy Spirit are the us), make man in our own image, and in His own image created He them; male and female created He them. He said be fruitful and multiply. Have dominion over the fish of the sea (fish is metaphysical for Spiritual Ideas), the birds of the air (spiritual ideas approaching fulfillment), and over the cattle of the earth (brute strength, base nature), and over everything that creepeth upon the face of the earth (human race or collective consciousness)." This was the creation of Spiritual Man. Man became manifest man (Radiant Substance) in Genesis 2:7, but still did not have a body until the third Chapter of Genesis. Then, in Genesis 3:21, they were coats of skin was used to cover their bodies. Man had fallen in consciousness of who they were as spiritual beings. However, we are all spiritual beings, living in a spiritual universe, and governed by spiritual law or principle, and anything else we see is a lie!!!
God is Life (therefore, there is no death - no matter the appearance). God is love (universal oneness with every man - and in God there is no race, creed or color - just spirit man in a vehicle to carry it around (human body). God is Wisdom (Divine intelligence.). God is substance (Stands under everything that has or ever will be created). God is Power (Omnipotent - the only power), and anything else we see is a lie!!! There is only one source, one power in my (your) life and in the universe, God the Good, Omnipotent! There is nothing that is a threat to God that he would resort to hatred, because when he created things, he declared everything as "Good and very good." Most people think hateful things when they can't control the situation.
I said all of the above to ask you do you think God is involved in human emotions? Those thoughts are man generated outside of God Mind. In our New Thought Christian Practices, we call it error thought or error consciousness, and He gives man the free will to do so. "Choose whom you will serve...".
Man is a three-fold being: Spirit. Some names for that Spirit is: Christ, I AM, MIND, Source. Soul is comprised of the entire mind: Superconscious (Christ Mind - Let this mind be in you that is in Christ Jesus - perfect or God thoughts, Divine Intelligence). Conscious - Man's thinking nature: He decides, rejects, discriminates, chooses, etc.... Subconscious phase: Feeling nature. This phase of mind records every event that has ever happened to you, and also supplies the feeling to go with the thought of the conscious mind. The out-picturing of things in our life, world and affairs have all been brought on by the subconscious mind. ("It is through his thoughts that man has what he has in his world" Prov. 23:7).
The Christ always was - even if there had been no Jesus, and that is because The Christ is God's own image of himself in man. Just think about how long this world existed before Jesus came along - and then not for the Gentiles; he came to be a way-shower for the Jews.
I would suggest that you go to a Unity Bookstore, or call Unity Village, Unity Village, Missouri, and purchase a book by Dr. H. Emilie Cady called "Complete Works of H. Emilie Cady" - Lessons in Truth, How I Used Truth and God a Present Help. Also, check on Charles and Myrtle Fillmore and how they started the Unity movement. Our teachings are far older than traditional Christianity, and does not deal with religious traditions being practiced, for we are non-denominational. We know it is just you and God, me and God, them and God, and not any rules that run our lives, anyway. Remember, God is love, joy, peace, kindness, orderly, etc.... May often attempt to "create God in his own image", instead of the other way around.
Take up the challenge of reading about New Thought Christianity.

Prayers God Hate
You are so right. The word says, "all our righteousness is like filthy rags." In addition, when we pray, we must go to God in an attitude of saying, Father, we are not worthy; but we come nevertheless to the only source and the only power, who can look beyond our faults and see our needs. The word says, there is none righteous; no not one. For if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us; but if we confess our sin, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrightousness. True, are are invited to approach the glrious presence bodly. but that does not mean arrogantly, or in an attitude, "Look at me;" but rather, "woe is me, save for the goodness and longsuffering of the most High.
