I have no plans to leave blogit. From time to time I do think it might be nice to cut back on some of the stress casued by those who wish to act childish and discredit me and such just because my views do not agree with theirs, but so far I am finding this to be a good outlet for my energies.

you know you really should not leave Blogit, even though Im sure its a pain
sometimes. I think I read that correctly in the recent comment to your antagonist. Just because you have enemies who attack you I mean. That usually means you are good at what you do. Talented. In this case, debate.

Even the God (s)
cannot rule Fate. The Greeks recognized this phenomenon in the early days of philosophy. The triparte of Gods, man, and Fate ruled the world. It was a thorn in the power of men and gods that things happen unplanned or unexpectedly. Good things became miracles under Jesus's name and curses under Satan (god does not curse man, but he made Satan for that). Other miracles are simply paying attention to reality. Penicillin, for instance. It was a miracle cure for bacterial infection. But it was a mishap that made it evidence of its potency. Willingness to explore beyond the boundaries of convention alow miracles to happen, yet the conservative mindset wants to restrain people from going beyond boundaries. The Church persecuted the intelligent minds that challenged the perception of reality based on God and his omniscinece, but eventually would have to own that intelligence by saying it was a "gift" from God, through his Holy Spirit to man. The Jews hold that all knowledge is contained within the scriptures and it is only our blindness that keeps us from knowing God's intelligence. Too bad there is an outside element to credit or discredit for our shortcommings and successes--we are the creators and destroyers of existence--yet there is always Fate with her fortunes and misfortunes. Or is it simply not paying attention?
I love your work, Kooka. I've always felt that intelligent minds come to the same conclusions, and truth is the prize.
Peace,
Freerain

miracles -- miracles -- miracles -- hmmm
trying to think back -- if I've had any miracles.
well, you are one -- -- your sister too
it's a miracle that we've all survived as long as we have.
seriously though
we shouildn't look for something like loaves & fishes stuff or calming the sea (although I did curse a rain god once and mentioned Siberia and in just a day or so we got 21 inches of snow).
sometimes it's items in life working the way we want it to -- wishing for something and getting it -- in odd ways -- not expected --
and about curses -- i had a landlady treat me bad once -- she got her garden messed up by an unexpected late freeze -- an employer fired me -- he had to quit about a year later over another issue -- a supervisor put me on probation because I had a flat tire and couldn't get back to work -- she drove the wrong way over some parking lot spikes just a little after that and had two flat tires.
a little later I wished for that supervisor to transfer and by golly she did. I got a whole lot better supervisor.
people look for miracles like described in the N.T. -- then get disappointed because they aren't happening.
you gotta look for how things happen in your favor. make propitiation to the right gods and you got it.

A miracle...
would be if God listened to all the prayers Thanksgiving requesting, well let me paraphrase it, "all the world leaders get their shit together" and that really happend. Now that would be a miracle. That and my hair growing back.
