Good to see you around again.
Enjoyed your post. I think the election has made me crabby and suspicious, even hateful. I realize hateful is not healthy, but that's just how I temporarily deal with big dissappointments. I think your proactive approach is more helpful to the cause. I keep telling myself - at least he can't be elected again. He'll probably try to amend the constitution. Take care:)

Fabulous to see you again Cynthia!!!!! I understand your feelings of depression..or as much as a Canuck living here, during these times, can empathize. I did shed tears of frustration and disbelief myself, though I wasn't able to cast a vote. It's heartening to know that half of the people here did vote for Kerry...there is some solace in that. Good to hear that your digs are great! Hope you're back to stay!??

Welcome back Cynthia. I can relate to your depression; what in the hell happened?? I've dealt with mine by using writing/blogging as a mind & soul escape. But the realities are biting and hard....From my position in an ugly-red state, I've decided two possibilities are responsible for this nightmare: the religious zealots have conquered and effectively destroyed democracy as we thought we knew it. But...I have some pity for them, believe it or not, because I feel they "knew not what they did." When they have to face up to Bush&Criminal's real agenda and evil, there will be a deafening roar. Too little, too late however. Either that or the election was stolen, a strong possibility also. And Canada is refusing to grant refuge to those of us who know the score.
Well, there's always France eh?
