the mirth of innocense

I'm glad to read the lighter side of your life, Kooka--in less "liberal" homes, these wonderful innocent boys might have been yelled at, told they were "bad boys" or worse, dirty, and the old adage "don't play with your food!" physically assaulted with a spanking and sent to their rooms without supper! I am extremely greatful for the liberal days when we started to recognize that children are more than "just a blank slate" and possessions to control and reflections of the character and prominense of the father.  If we go back to the dark ages, before the civil rights era, children will be the ones to suffer the greatest and the roots of social disfunction will flourish.

Peace,

Freerain

Kooka
I know where you're coming from...I have 3 boys!! They can get up to mischief with the most innocent of items...as you learned with the bread and cheese!LOL!! I have given up yelling at them to be quiet....as I have finally learned that when they are being quiet is the most dangerous time of all!!
