Pecan, we all make stupid decisions, but they're usually not mistakes
cause we learn lots of important lessons from them. Oh, and you are certainly NOT gonna be an old maid.

My first marriage was pretty stupid
and hormone driven. My second marriage was pretty stupid. We both settled for what we thought we could get. My third marriage, not only illegal in the minds of so many, was damn stupid cause she was too young, I was to giving and too trusting. I've done some pretty stupid things that involve other people. I think I am going to stay an old maid.

Origninal-I, I think I tried to argue that type of answer with you once
before and you put me in my place. Now, I'll  just say, "K."

Oh, Whams! Me is so flattered!
I am grateful for knowing you, too. Really.

Depends on which connotation of stupid I am using....
but "I do" seems to come to mind!

Oh, and just a "P.S." Alf...

That is not just my "opinion" I shared with ya, K? So, again, if we ever lose touch, contact me again in 6 years, K? (Just ask WileyCoyote) He'll explain why I'm so sure about this.

LittlemsP, isn't your sister older than you?
Just curious. Either way, I get a kick out of that!

easy, I did this the other week...
Looking at a bunch of goldfish in a pond, I pointed to them and told my sister and her friend to, "Look at the birdies." I knew they were fish, but the words just did not come out right! LOL They sure gave me hell over that one!

Alf, maybe you haven't remarried yet cause of all you learned from
that experience. But, sorry to say, you WILL remarry in 6 years.

Even if it did, eh, so what?!

Spitfire...
I have really tried to go with that theory...sometimes it almost works.  I know I did learn alot, that was over 15 years ago and I have never re-married.

Uh, ThomasF, that sounds pretty SMART to me!!!

my my days off. Almost made it all the way out to the car before!!

Oh, Alf. Those really were not the dumbest things you have probably said...
That marriage was meant to happen so you could learn from your mistakes. You're a better person now because of that marriage whether you see it yet or not.

" Is that a real gun?" I said as I pulled it with my right hand. Said during a take over robbery in a bank some years back. Even dumber thing when I threw it behind the counter.

Stupidest thing?

Hmm...

I was reading a paper once in English class.  It was my paper, I had written it.  But, I pronounced omnipotent really wrong and made myself look like an idiot--because it was my paper.

After beating someone up....leave the area. Do not hang out. Odds are that they will return with a bigger badder weapon. Run away!

The stupidest thing i've done recently...
My daughter goes to headstart...there is no school on friday...i brought her to school on a friday...

Spitfire...
I am not trying to be funny here, I really believe these are the dumbest things I ever said as they were based on zero reason and complete lack of forethought.  About 25 years ago; 1.) "will you marry me?"  2.) "I Do."
