Witchflower...
you're not missing much, today is the first day that I have posted anything and it's only in the Diary.  My time is very limited tonight as the kids need to do homework, so right now I am getting the boot.  Take care.

Thanks, Inns,
it is very helpful to me that way.  Guess the turkey calmed me down.    I'm going to zip over to your place now to see what's new.  I've been missing your posts.

Witchflower...
Happy Thanksgiving!  Blowing off steam on Blogit is a great way to deal with a situation that's out of your hands.  Have a great weekend!

I had to change my name!

I was Raven Dark.  Just letting everyone know so there is no confusion.

Thank you, Frankie,

You're right, I like a challenge if I set it as a personal goal, not when others do.  I'm sure everything will be fine.  I almost got through that chapter before the end of Wednesday.  I have Friday off and also Monday, so I'll get back to it on Tuesday.  Thanks for reading, and Happy Thanksgiving!

There is actually a personality type
that thrives off resistance. Where these people come from and how they conquered the world I have yet to understand. You sound like a person who really enjoys peaceful and organized situations, I'm sorry your job does not meet those elements. Good luck with your chapter:)

Thank you all for your kind thoughts.

Wiley, you have such a kind heart, thanks for the prayers.  I am fine, just got overwhelmed yesterday and wanted to whine.  Blogit is the only place that really listens.  Well, my poor husband listens, too, but I can see his eyes start to glaze over after a bit.

Suomynona, nope, no Saturdays. In fact, I have this Friday off to go with Thanksgiving, which is an extra treat.  My benefits here are quite nice.  It will be fine, at least until next week when the Euchre game begins again.   My life is from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. and the weekends, not the other way around.

Poms, I couldn't match the pace of work on a dairy farm, and as far as getting my arm stuck in a corn picker, ooouuuggg!  I'm sure things will get better for you after you are recovered from the surgeries and feel well again.  Blessings.

So, to everyone, I apologize for whining and moaning.  I tend to get quite self-centered at times, but I'm over it now.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and to my Canadian friends, a wonderful weekend.  The full moon is Friday, so let yourself go!  Love ya.

Poor Witchflower
There is nothing more trying, boring, aggravating and just plain YUK! than working somewhere you are not completely happy. I hope this too shall pass and everyone will quieten down (when you are feeling annoyed anyway....don't those annoying habits seem to just screech out at you?!). I will wish for a lovely long, calm, quiet weekend where you can sprawl over your bed with your beloved cats and watch girly movies and put work totally out of your mind. You're halfway there....not long to go before Saturday. (Please don't tell me you owrk Saturdays too?) Girl In Bed  Cat

Thanks, loanlady, you made me smile

I don't know how to play Euchre, either.  It's probably just a loud group. It's apparently a trump type of game, like Hearts or Spades, maybe.  There is usually a group playing Texas Hold 'Em poker in the staff kitchen (lunchroom), but I usually eat at my desk because of making up some time or another for an appointment.

Regarding the eggs:  We use an electric egg cooker, so they are supposedly done right every time.  Never get the green halo thing.  I'm told my peeling technique is incorrect.  Actually, I read that the fresher the eggs, the less likely they are to peel well.  I could ask my husband to pre-peel them for me, but I think that would be going a bit far.

True, no job is ever perfect.  As I used to tell my daughters, "That's why they call it WORK."  This was has been quite nice for 6-1/2 years, but the rules and players are changing, and I would like to move on.  I get restless every now and then, but it usually passes.  Cherrio!

since I have no idea what Euchre is I have to assume it is a noise making challenge for loonies. The next complaint I have is why in the world does the egg shell only randomly stick? I have learned how to escape the ugly grey green center by slow cooking on low and allowing to go back to room temperature. But for an egg shell to steal the good part I think I suggest you bring back the hard boiled egg to the grocery store tell them it's old and you want a new dozen.

Enough ranting on your behalf.

Job is a job it's never glamourous or barrell full of peace. Just make the slave master happy with whatever format they want and smile. smile smile

Give hubby big kisses for all the years he smiled!!!!
