I have to admit we have had that ridiculous Barbie movie with the princess and the dog or whatever here at the house for a looooong time... keeps my daughter and son mesmerized....the Blockbuster police will be coming soon I fear.

Last winter, I subscribed to Netflix, and found them to be very good
if you have a DVD.
They have a free 2 week trial available....

We've started renting movies again
through Zip.ca since I can never return a movie on time either. But mostly they are kids movies so I can slip the rug rats into a movie coma so I can blog more.... LOL!

LOL Tapsel-T
I always talk in suomynona's comment section about her funny words that Australians use in different places than we do. Funny stuff. "Hired" means rented in suomynona's land of warmth. hehehe, sorry, I sometimes forget that we don't all read the same blogs :) thanks for stopping in tapsel!

:)We don't even have cable - a nightmare for most of my husband's friends. Netflix sounds like a good idea; my husband and I never return movies on time!

What's with men and the weather?
My husband will actually tell us all to SSHHHHH!!!!! when the weather comes on each night. He especially loves to know when high and low tide is and how many knots the wind will be blowing. Just like North, South, East, West....this is all gobble-de-goop to me! He also likes movies involving cyclones or tornados or HUGE storms at sea involving gigantic waves and tiny boats with bearded men wading around in galoshes and wrestling with the steering wheel or whatever that thing's called that steers boats! He calls "The Poseidon Adventure" his favourite film!! Give me Bridget Jones any day....I'd rather have a laugh and be entertained.
By the way...I am laughing out loud at the mental picture of your tiny Mum sitting at convenient flea-jumping level! What a hoot!! I've never heard of fleas in a cinema....or do you have cinemas for pets over there?

Wow---
you'd go NUTS in our house
There isnt a SINGLE day that goes by I don't see at least half of a movie -- most of them rentals from NETFLIX.com-- The other members of the household will watch as many as three or four in a day....
lol
oh well. I guess that's why I'm me and you're you.
It works.
