It just sort of got swept under the rug and gradually ran out of steam. Which is a shame, as the early seasons were very good and as far as I know there has never been a drama which dealt with the faculty side of things in a serial form.
I tuned out after Nicky Katt left, myself.

It seemed to be doing well in the ratings too. One week it was there, then the next week....gone!
