Turn off the volume on the phone when you go to bed. Your children are safe at home and sleeping at that time. If they are safe and sound then don't worry about the rest. Any other calls can wait until you have had a restful sleep.

dear girl. Just refuse to play his little game. If you have an ansering machine - don't take any calls just check the machine from time to time and return the call's that you want to. As for the ringing -noise, check the phone - there should be a switch that turns the ringer off. Take a holiday -right there at home.

I don't think it was a cheap shot...
Sometimes frustration just needs to be vented! I feel it's probably better to be angry about the situation and strike out at it rather than let it eat you up inside. Hope today is a better one for you.
