Just kidding there. But I think some extreme liberals brought this "leave the country" business onto the rest of you, by saying that they were indeed going to leave the country. Then, to make it worse, they DID NOT leave, exposing their insincerity and immaturity. You can't really blame us for having a little fun with it, can you?

Kooka, I appreciated your comment over in my Star Trek / Star Wars blog. Just wanted to let you know I have replied to it.

I can't wait to explore this Parish piece. What, are the Canadians bowing down for George W.'s visit next month? Keep in mind, that I mock your post as fodder for getting us all thinking. I respect your views and your writing , but please don't tell anyone..... :)

It was due to stupid statement like that which made me have to write this post. I so wish conservatives would learn to grow up and not be upset that there are people in this country who disagree with them. If it really bothers you that I disagree with you, then should it not be you who leaves the country? I have no problem with disagreement. It is the lack of respect that the conservatives are showing that gets to me. You barely won the election. It was not a land slide, it was not some great victory. More than likely if the Democrats would have gotten a slightly better candidate, they would have won. The conservative have not won the right to say that all liberal thinking is over with and that liberals should just bow down and accept defeat. I did not hear liberals saying that of conservative when Clinton got two back to back landslide wins, not close, landslide.

The Election Is Over

Sooo..get over it and let's all try to bring this Country back to where it should be. Maybe Bush was not my candidate either, but you are wasting your time bitching about it. Get out there on the local level and start trying to make changes that will go all the way to the top. Take a good look at your local, state and federal Representatives, Congressmen and Senators. Let's start there and work up.
