Well Sarooster, kids certainly knows how to push the buttons at times, especially if you let them. I'm not really familiar with the story, how did you come to acquire your niece? The way I see it with children and guardian is they will test you and when you give in that’s a trading of power. You no longer have an influences over them. Next time she acts up ignore her, she won’t know how to take it. Also if she’s the type that thoughts fits embarrassing you in public places, it may sound harsh but tell her she only embarrassing herself and no matter how much she gets under your skin, ignore her. Worked like a charm with my niece during those terrible two’s. Sillysoul88

Thanks for the comment. We do try to stay calm
when this happens. It is not easy, but we are getting better. We got things calmed down nicely and we were able to function much better today. The picture taking was good. We had fun and had some nice pictures taken. Thanks for asking.

Ick. Meltdowns are never good.
My three year old has meltdowns on a semi regular basis and it is really hard to deal with. The best thing I have found with her, don't let her get a rise out of me. If she does, she knows it works at getting my attention.

Also for the read. I am partial to nurses! I have had some medical problems in the past and nurses are phenomenal. I would not have recovered the way I have done without the aid of wonderful nurses.
