Then try to put the patch on ASAP. If you have DSL, it's even worse, as it
proliferates quicker. It came in through your email ports, so don't send anymore emails. You need to also download a firewall. Here's the way to go about it:
1. Download the patch now.
2. Download virus detectors after this (immediately).
3. Delete the virus.
4. Download a firewall immediately.
This is an old virus, Symph, but your computer is running slow and crashing as the hard drive is being eaten up. If you keep running it, eventually it will be out of commission entirely. So you must fix this now. Although it's an older virus, it was also one of the worst ever committed.

Don't download the virus, dear, LOL...I think that's what you wrote...but
lucky for you, I knew what you meant!

Hope you get it taken care of. If not, Chris is hiring terrorists.

Symphony, first of all STOP RUNNING IT!
This virus promelgates each time the machine is on. The more you run it, the more it infests your hard drive. Turn it off immediately.
Go to another machine somewhere, the library, a friend's, just somewhere, and download the patch for this from the link you've posted, onto a floppy. Then come back and upload the patch before running the machine again. After you've run the patch, you will also need to run a virus update and delete it from your system. The patch is free, the virus update probably not. Both must be done. Don't send email to anyone in the meantime either.
