Taps, lol.
Well....maybe just a little...but no matter what's on top, it's pretty hard not to notice slippers out in broad daylight.

Quirky - I suppose everything else you had on was smart and fashionable so

contrast was even more noticeable.   lol

Alf,
I laughed, said nary a word and walked to my car as if there were nothing out of the ordinary. I work alone, so I didn't go back to get my shoes (and I didn't go out for lunch).

That's right, fade to sunset, with logos glowing brightly as they stare into each other's eyes.

Hey, Starbucks may go for that-=
I just watched a documentary called "The Persuaders" on marketing and advertising and making commercials, webpages and even movies designed to showcase the product is all the rage.  This would make a cute spot: girl goes to get coffee, makes eye contact with hot guy, they check each other out, and then the moment when the camera shows her feet, maybe they could get together anyway.

Q
That is so wonderful. I can just hear people thinking 'what confidence!'  You should write a commercial for Starbucks using that, sell it for a huggge sum. lol

I almost went to school with my fuzzy slippers on. I was ready to get into the car when I looked down noticing that I wasn't quite ready to go.

Geez
Slippers to work. I hope they weren't the bunny rabbit kind, or anything like that!
