that reminds me of this joke I heard, the comic was saying (facetiously) how he was attracted to women's brains and not their bodies...and he said to his buddy as a woman walks by, "Would you look at that fine mind!" lol.

Great points about my post, and interesting personal info; thanks for sharing.

Like I said, I was only feeling left out on principle and didn't really want to get that kind of attention.

Too many fish in the see-ea
Yep, it's a cold world out there in the sea and I don't think even the hotties have it all that easy, because somebody else is always hotter, has better teeth or bigger whatever. So, I like Alf's gentlemanly explanation that it's all in the eye of the beholder.
I've gotten email "testing the waters" for more fishing and when I politely but firmly declined and told him "to go fish" got testy with me and accused me of "baiting and switching" because I had traded relationship/risque comments with another blogger but not him. So, consider yourself lucky and btw, since I don't have a photo posted here, it wasn't at all about looks.

different sport than fishing for compliments! lol.

It really hurts when
that kind of statement comes from someone that you really admire. I am no sexpot, but I was capable of catching the fish of my choice. I decided to keep him so that I don't have to play the fishing game anymore. Its a cruel world out there at sea.

I was bummed when a male blogger emailed me one day and since I did not want to talk about what he wanted to talk about he refused to continue chatting with me.

Quirky...
Ones mans carp is another mans salmon. There is a bait for every fish and a fish for every bait. There are more fish in the sea. Etc., etc., what I'm saying is that this guy was already smitten by another, so naturally his tact-o-meter was running low, and when one is smitten that are also blinded to the charms of others. If this were to happen again you should sluff it off without a second thought because it didn't mean anything really.

Course, you should be prepared before a fishing expedition - glamour shot, mebbie?

People much prefer to see the genuine article anyway, even if it's not exactly a hottie.
