I feel the same way when people who I have deemed rational and intelligent forward this crap top me. I just delete it without a second thought, but still, in the back of my mind just for a second the "bad luck" cloud looms...and it pisses me off.

I, too wish they would get a life! I mean, I know it sounds cold to receive all those "warm-fuzzy" emails, but if all of those aren't annoying enough it truly gets me when I'm threatened with bad luck if I don't forward them...not only that but after I've opened the "FWD FWD FWD FWD...." PROBABLY CONTAINS a virus by the time it reached me!! Aaarrrggghhh!!

I HATE this rubbish too! Just like those stupid chain letters promising bad luck etc as you said. I attract enough bad luck, without people threatening to give me more!! And anyone who has time to either sit down and invent this garbage in the first place....or those who have the dimwittedness and ample spare time to actually reply I say...
