Ohhhh my dear friend, thank you for writing - beautiful poem, truly, I'm all teary-eyed.
I would never, ever abandon my angel in the desert in his time of need - he will get nothing but support and love for me, that I assure you, but thank you for the insight. I understand the importance of an anchor back home - as best I can, given that I don't know how awful it is over there. Thank you for the words of support, and I hope you are now home safe and sound where you should be. Thanks, too, for fighting the good fight.
