SKY - This is very interesting to me. My Mom taught me to read
before I ever went to school. My Dad taught me to love and understand music, poetry, and a love for learning. My Dad taught me about nature and the world and the universe. My Mom taught me about God and how to cook and how to clean a house and wash clothes. My Dad taught me how to solve problems. My Mom taught me how to mend and sew and iron. My Dad taught me to love and accept people no matter what language they spoke or what color was their skin. My Mom taught me to laugh and to not take myself too seriously and to pray before I went to sleep. My Dad bought me a whole set of The Books of Knowledge and then we read them together and did every activity together. My Mom & Dad were always involved in my education and the activities of my schools and supportive of what I chose to study.

I guess, however you look at it, families educate one another every day - whether the members mean to or not.
Lessons are learned each day - parents teach their children how to behave and how to make decisions. Kids teach their parents, (if mom and/or dad is willing to listen), by speaking of their feelings on matters that are important to them.
Lessons...
Disciplines...
Conversations...all of these are means of Family Education.
