Klara -
What kind of evidence are you looking for? There are many books written by various, well respected religious scholars (John Dominic Crossan, Elaine Pagels, Karen Armstrong, Marvin Meyer, to name a few) that document what Westwend is pointing to (and document what the website he listed states as well).

Hi West. I did go to the site, and still remain confused.
How can anyone reach a valid conclusion of any type without knowing whether the information contained somewhere is valid? While I'm open to all possibilities, I need validated evidence in order to make valid conclusions.

Actually, what we all need to do is inspect what is said on the site and see whether or not it rings true.
If it is valid or if it in invalid -- then we can make our own decision.
At least the informatoin is there and it does shed a different light on what we have perceived in the past to be ironclad truth.
Put it to the test. You've got to do that before you reach a conclusion.

Agree with Pappy, West.
Not only the years that have gone forth, but also the fact that anything I find online is never taken as "gospel" truth (forgive the pun). I do require greater documentation by experts, before I would form an opinion based upon some link found on the Internet.

Yes, even the assembly instructions for a bicycle can seem impossible.  Writings thousands of years old and translated through several languages often constructs a vehicle that take people to the strangest places.  What we make of it is the one that we must live with.
