Very clear presentation

GW, the best expresion of evolution and creationism I've read yet.  Sorry to say though, the stick in the mud is the Bible its self and the expression of an "unchanging God" and the concept of sin and sin nature.  We can't evolve very far if we believe our nature is impure and corrupt and only the blood of another being can redeem us--it leads to bloodshed on a grand scale to prove the rightness of it all.  The "heathen" south American natives were able to imbrace Christianity so easily because they sacraficed humans to their gods for blessings and "survival" and it just made sense that a god would do the same thing.  Embracing life means letting go of this old notion and accepting our right to live in our nature, perfect for this existance and go from there.

Peace,

Freerain
