I agree not to talk about religion if you like.  I'll e-mail you the info. and you can let me know about logistics.  Thanks.

Westwend lives in Missouri.
I don't really drink due to stomach problems.
As for dinner itself, we will see.
Give me some dates and we'll see where things are.
General acceptance that we do not talk religion at all if we do this has to be agreed upon before hand though.

Somehow I fail to see how muttering primitive incantations around a sputtering candle can be construed as “going to hell in style” but I guess to each his own!  BTW, I’ll be in CO. skiing late next month and I would love to buy you and Westwend a beer and/or a dinner, if you are able to spare the time!

Well, I actually assumed it didn't involve another person yet, but I was thinking of the future.  Not that you aren't smart enough to figure that out yourself...

Y-L-F
The spell is completely focused on myself.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to come preach that so.

You have already made it very clear that I am going to hell, so why should I not go in style? In fact you just gave me a great idea for a post today. You will not like it one bit, but I think it will be a really good post myself.

kooka,
Only thing is, if you're ever going to wish something on another person, let it be that they get their wish.  We don't always know what another person likes or doesn't like.

actually it's tougher than it may seem
of course i see you are using the scientific method -- testing a postulation. good.
depends upon the "spell" --
the wrong spells could be very disappointing.
check out small things where you can easily verify the results.
I checked thes things out a bit
found a pretty good parapsychologist
did not volunteer anything really
she was pretty good.
the beauty was in the inaccuracy in her accuracy.
the overall prediction was right -- but the details were fuzzy.
she predicted water pipes would freeze and break where I lived.
so I moved. water pipes froze where I moved to.

First you clear God away
in a small area of your being and then you allow thorny vines to crawl into the area.  Such vines may overwhelm you, if you are not careful.  You turn your faith to nonsense while ignoring amazing revelations that stare you in the face.  Awaken from your slumber and ascend!!!!

If it works then I will make a post on how it worked.
I can not see myself becoming practicing witch.
It really does not suit me at all.
I will however become less skeptical about the super natural and be very curious as figuring out a logical reason as to why the spell worked.
The spell i picked seems to be more about concentration and focus, rather than summoning other worldly powers.
I'll write up the full spell and my experiences with it once I complete it.

I've read enough of your blogs to think you will approach this with the same healthy skepticism. My only fear is that it might work, then what?

Let me know how it works, Kook, I've actually had that same thought myself (trying it for the sake of learning).
