you have distorted what I wrote
that fact is, the only reason you ( and others) think George Bush would impose his views on this country is because he is a PRACTICING Christian. Big difference. Anyone can say they are a Christian but its those who actually carry out the teachings of JEsus is when people get nervous. I dont understand that. Why do people oppse that? We should be thankful that our President is a practicing Christian. At least he is not a freaking Muslim.  Then you would get your head cut off of you spoke out and women would be oppressed. Im sorry if that offends Muslims but your Koran teaches murder. And yes I am intolerant of that. People all have the potential for evil and we need something to guide us, especially leaders.   All of the teachings of Jesus Christ lead to peace and harmony in a life and a society. One of those teachings is murder is not to be committed. Abortion is murder. We agree that imposing a law that prohibits murder is not oppressing a persons right to choose, correct? It is not governmental imposing of religion on the people just because it happens to be in the Bible. It is common sense that murder is wrong. Millions of people who say they are Christians but dispute the notion that abortion is murder are dead wrong and deluded. You say you are a Christian but I wager you support a womans right to choose. But the Bible DOES teach that abortion is murder. Jeremiah Chapter 1 God says to the prophet:' Before I formed you in the womb I KNEW YOU' which proves ( if you are a Christian) that you are a human being before you are born.  Bush, when he opposes abortion, is simply enforcing the teaching of God that prohibits murder. At that is never a bad thing for our country.
