The link you show does in fact say there are positive are not the way you are saying it. There are carvings, the 10 commandments and Icons of all sorts of the Bible. It says so right there and any day you watch the news you will see them any time you look at the Supreme Court building. Sir I see you calling yes no and calling no yes.

you know full well what my intent was on saying I didn't want argumentive comments on my blog "footprints.com". I certainly welcome comments on all of my posts, but in the footprints one I don't want it to be a place for stupid arguing that's all I mean by that and you know it.
Why do you continue to want to create dissention everywhere you go? With every blog you write it just reinforces how closed minded, intolerant, unwillingly to work for any kind of unification. You say you want unity and progress in America, but you are one who is doing nothing but creating more of a rift. And like I posted in one of my blogs, I can't for the life of me figure out what rights you and others who are of the same mentality fear losing. But whatever.

thanx westwend for the unintended compliment

the 60's gave us some great music( the lyrics were sometimes stupid) but thats it. But the only beneficial advances from the 1890's to the 1960's were science and technology. I get the feeling you are REFERing to the  advancement of ideas, perception and thought. Or society righteously  throwing off  the shackles and chains of traditional Christian morality and thus liberating itself

And Why...

GET OUT?
When did I say anything about getting out? I just want this country to stick to what our founding fathers meant it to be. My argument with you is simply, like always, your liberal viewpoint which is false. For you to call this administration a tyranny by following what our founding fathers have set forth is wrong. I have never said anything about everyone following my religion. I just want this nation to continue to follow what it has since 1776. You don't. As far as the '60's goes, you claim that it was progressive back then. I do not think that sitting around on the floor with long dirty hair, no cleanliness and smoking pot while saying, "Hey, like wow, man" is obviously not progress. I can not think of a more worthless decade, socially and politically.

the 60's are a hell of a lot more advanced than the 1890's where you and all the rest of the cons are.

well said scoop

indicative of a mature American who truly loves this country and wishes to be part of the solution

and not be a whiny, childish, delusional rebel who stubbornly refuses to come out of the 60's. In other words: a loser.

Well I don't plan on going anywhere, that is not the way to face a problem
we all have rights, we have to use them. I am still an American and a Republican and because I chose to vote for Kerry I was exercising my rights. When I hear people say they are moving to Canada it bothers me, you can't face a problem by turning your back. You work it out. Just because I may not agree with all of his decisions, he is not stupid, he loves his country just like I do. Now is the time to pick up the shovels and get the job done.

Ah, the American attitude - "If you don't agree with me, you aren't American."  And, of course, the usual follow-up:  Get out of America.  If nothing else, these people are pretty damn predictable.
