National Results

= State not yet called

= State called for Bush

= State called for Kerry
Source: YAHOO! news.
States where Bush won with 55% or less of the vote
New Mexico | 50% | 49% | 5 | Bush |
90 electoral votes total for these states.
30 electoral votes where Bush got just 51% or less of the vote. - that would have changed the result now wouldn't it have?
do you see any kind of a mandate here?

I am all for that. The problem is, who gets to decided how we all come together? I will not give up my freedoms and my future and the future of my children just so that we can all 'get along'. My passion against Bush is because when I looked at what he was doing I saw that he did not care about the future of the people of our country. His only true concern is his own agenda. If he keeps going the way he has been, the future looks very bleak and our freedoms look to be slowly vanishing. In some ways 9/11 was about the best thing to happen to Bush. it put things in lien so that he could start to take away our freedom and not have as many people question what he was doing for his own agenda. He most likely has his fingers crossed that another such event will happen soon so that he will be bale to force his agenda even more with little question.
If anything, in order to keep America free and to make sure we have any kind of future, more people need to openly question anything and everything Bush does. He should not be allowed to do as he pleases for any reason at all. He has done too much damage already, and with four more years can only do more if we let him.

kooka I understand but this is where we should all
put aside any differences especially for people like your sons and my two granddaughters. My oldest son joined the Army reserve 6 years ago while a junior in high school, he or myself ever thought anything like 9/11 would occur. But it did and changed this country forever. My son who is a combat engineer went to Iraq last year and did his time and is home safely. We can't stay the Divide States of America we must all come together for our future and for future generations.

I think a big part of why I have to hold in is because I am a father. I will not accept what Bush will do to this country until I have to. I can not allow myself to think about what kind of future there will be for my boys with Bush getting a second term. It scares me greatly. I only hope that if Bush gets his second term, which I will admit looks very likely, that whoever comes after him is able to to repair all the damage Bush is going to do.
