Unfortunately, parents are humans too. And say (if you will forgive me) really stupid shit sometimes. I'm not sure we realize that what we say has more of an effect on our children as opposed to a sibling or friend, stranger etc. I hope the dog is fin, and I'm sure it is. But ignore your mom and tell her if she doesn't trust you to do it, she should do it herself and quit her bitching (once again, I hope you forgive me for saying such things about your Mother). I hope not to traumatize LB as I had been traumatized by my parents on different occassions. But I'm sure I'll slip up someday.... And go ahead and buy your house. It's always a good thing to have. Not to say I wouldn't like to see a picture of your bum glued to plexi-glass (hilarious!), but it's always the best investment you can make. Take care dear.

You're right. It will be nice to have my own place...my mom tends to make me anxious for no reason. I don't even cook in her house for fear of spilling something. She's a good mom but she stresses easily , and hardly ever lightens up. Yeesh...my own house will feel like a vacation.

You should see what this puupy will eat, she's like the human garbage disposal. She eats fake flowers, and cotton balls, and worms, and plants, pants hems, and bugs.

Accidents happen, why didnt your brother stop the dog while he was just sitting there? You are not airhead!! It could happenn to anyone!! Dont beat yourself up over it. The dog is ok? Take care.

I don't see you as acting badly; you did try to help your dog; and it was
bad luck the small dog got the pill. Could happen. Strange one dog wants the pill, the other doesn't.

and frankly, your mother should have been the one medicating the dogs if she was that worried about it. If it was just an antibiotic, I don't think there will be any problem
