Quirky, my sweet friend,
Thank you. Thank you for all your friendship, support, and especially this gesture. I love that quote and I am going to print it out and put it with a picture of the Pony. I will show it to you when I am done with it. Reading that really helps. I know I'll never get over this loss, but I will get through it eventually. I just keep reminding myself that she is not in pain, she will not suffer, and that she left us surrounded by so much love. She deserved that and I'm glad I was able to put any selfishness aside, bite the bullet and set my best girl free. Thank you again for this.

ewww.. got a rag? got some egg on my face.. lol..
hell, I was feelin bad cause that was 2 people I knew with a pony.  I am having to give away my dog.  I just can't keep him anymore, he is too big and my backyard is too small.  The kids go out there to play and it's jump over the piles of crap. They try to make mud pies.. yup.. yuk.. My little girl has gotten infections, so It's time to find him a home. And it is killing me!  I love that dog, he is so awsome with the kids and people. And he is beautiful.  :(  If anyone is around Ms. and want a full blooded German Shepard, :sniff sniff:....

Devil,

thanks. I love The Crow and yes it is all of what you said.

Oh, BTW, Brittany is a dog, though Spitfire called her Pony Dog (I'm guessing because of her size)

Truly fitting and touching sentiments...

Love has power.

What a fitting way to send condolences.. The Crow is a love letter, a story
from someone who had died inside but still lived to go through another day.  It holds all the injustice from having love torn away, and being left with a lonely angry void.  Brandon Lee died making this movie, so it is in all aspects a movie of love and loss.. and then rememberance.  I am so sorry to hear about spitfire's pony.  That would be a tough loss for me, animals are really the best unjudgemental friends we have.

CA88,
Yes, I love it, too. It can be a comfort in times of loss.
