God is an ass and has no love for man, if he were real and was the Biblical idea of God that is.  But we won't go into that here.

So are you saying Lucifer is behind all the Christians who use lies and such to get people to follow the word of God?  Now that really starts to get strange.  Not sure why the Devil would want people to trick others into following God, since it has time and time again been pointed out to me that it is not your deeds that matter as much as your faith. So by the Devil using people to lie to get others to follow God's word he is saving them through the lies, which means he is not doing what I am told he is trying to do.

Then of course most of the Christians ideas make no sense to me.  There are some real gaps in their logic most of the time.

I am very puzzled as to how free will is a defense for lying and such to get God's messge across. I would think a ture Christian would not want to have to resort to lies and misinformation to get people to follow God's word.  Just by defending such a thing shows a lack of integrity.

Nothing you said in that comment seemed to fit with the idea of the post. I know you, like many Christians, not all or most, feel the need to be the victim in order to gain sympathy from others, but when you just try to confuse the issue it really does not make you look better then me.

Are you saying it is all right for people to lie to get Gdo's word to them?

If Lucifer had only stayed on the job. If he had only kept a good attitude. If only he had accepted he was the most beautiful, most of whatever most you want to call except God.... All would be well and we would not be discussing this. I don't think we are discussing it. I think there is a far greater confusion of facts tossed around than is discussable. Confusion is not of God. He loves you Kooka!

Kookla, your logic seems to be devolving...
The notion that, by exercising the gift of free will to reject God's message and truth, man reflects a lack of integrity on the part of god is so seriously logically flawed that it is sophmoric. Inegrity, by definition, speaks to wholeness. Thus, any constraints empossed on free will by God would be more of an indication of out integrity than our election to go against His stated desire for us.The duplicity of your "logic" is as obvious as your anti-Christian bias.

I think you are stating a universal concept. Anyone of any political, religious or any other persuasion who does not back up their words with facts and actions.... loses credibilty. I wouldn't single out christians as the only ones who do this.

"Quit writing these damnable blogs or thou shalt be smitten with a sore curse, the soreness of which you can't imagine. God words are true, even if they don't make sense. Don't make light of Hell, because you're problable going there, eventhough I can't prove it. I know in my heart that God is angry with you. If only He were more powerful, he wouldn't need me to do his talking for him. But because I'm called to do His work I'm going to open my mouth and will warn you this one last time. Good thing I'm here to wake you up since God doesn't want to."

Sound familiar?

Any resemblence to any blogger is completely coincidental.

Kooka -
Unfortunately, there are those in the Christian community who truly believe that "God" is a vengeful, angry God who does rule by fear. It's an unfortunate, but common mistake. The "God" I believe in is based in love - is love according to 1 John 4:8.

Okay Everyone
Thanks for the comments.

I think I fixed the typos, but I am not very good at editing myself. If I was, I might be published by now.

The end justifies the means

is the moto of many christians.  This is also the moto of our current administration.  The meaning of a lie is of no consequence to these people--they seek the gullible, depressed, confused and frightened to enlist into their ranks.  There are so many of them--and rational thought is their enemy.  You write very meaningful posts, kooka, enough for me to overlook the typos   especially since I might have a few of my own

Peace,

Freerain

You are very logical.  And you've got some pretty bad typos in here.  :)

Very good point
I am a christian and I get very frustrated with othere christians who come across as callous, insensitive and thoughtless when speaking of God to others. It is an insult to Him and it only pushes people further away from any possible belief in in Him they might have considered.
