Yes, I have a similar problem. My parents divorced when I was about six years old, and my father didn't go to church anymore after that, because they had both been Christians, and when she was gone, I suppose his faith in God was gone too. Well, Mom took us to church religiously, directed the choir and handbells and always had us involved in the music.
After my own Christian husband of a very brief time divorced me, twice, I quit going to church too, but not because I wanted to quit -- he kept going to the same churches as me, and I couldn't be free to see others or I would see him with some other woman in the church. It was very disturbing. I finally married a non-Christian. We won't be taking our daughters to church, as I am now following in my father's footsteps. After all... I don't believe in divorce.
