Creeping Fascism
There are strong parallels between the rise of the Nazi Party and the rise of Neo-Conservatism. Even some of the characters have direct associations with both movements.
9/11 was the Reichstag Fire for the neocons. That day was an event staged and produced by elements within international intelligence units who operate extra-nationally, but whose interests couldn't be more plain. No group of Arab terrorists could hope to do the damage that was done in Oklahoma City, the WTC in 1993 or on 9/11 without significant cooperation/coordination from within the US government.
Fascists are creeps, although they usually don't think so. If ever there were a trellis that would grow a structure for the "ugly American," fascism would be that structure.

| I am broadly immersed in media and exposed to many areas of thought and I am finding more and more references of all types to the creeping fascism in the US. Since this admin. came to power. The US can only protect what it has by violence and economic coercion. I am supported Bush until it came out that there were no WMD's left in Iraq. This after I watched an election be stolen by his machine. On 9/11 one of my first thoughts was that Gore was likely damn glad at that moment that he was not president. Anyway I hope other commenters are less rude than the fellow who first commented. Sounds like a scary fellow. |

It is a traumatic injury to our intelligence that the actions of the police in Jacksonville can be twisted into George W. and fascisism. Get a life.
Why don't you have Kerry read your blog to frighten the final few undecided voters into action. It would appear that he is running out of things to frighten the American public with.
Kerry's wife is enough to frighten about 20 million voters the other way.
