I your post about appearances is right on. I tend to not care too much what I look like. I dress ok and I make sure I am groomed, but I don't go overboard trying to look great. I am what I am and I am comfortable with what I look like. Most people are not like that. I liked the post!

I think we do check out how someone looks first. We get to know their other traits later.

It's not that I disagee with you (because I surely don't) but looks are the first thing that attracts or not attracts. Yet I've known handsome men who became really *ugly* once they actually opened their mouth to speak, and vice versa. So, I do try not to judge by outward appearances alone...yet it can be very difficult not to.
