If you tightlace daily (as the Victorians did), then yes, your organs will shift about. That's what led corsets into disrepute years ago. A comfortably snug corset, laced only to the point that it provides support (rather than laced as tight as it will go without the woman fainting) will not, even if worn daily, cause a shift in organ placement. It really shouldn't be much tighter than a bra would be.

The horror stories are true. But only for women who cinched themselves so tight they could barely breathe.

I heard that eventually corsettes move your organs over from continual wearing. Infact if you wear them every day as they did in the Victorian era they actually said that some of their organs actually lined up as apposed to being on oppisite sides. Myth or truth, that I dont know. But a strange thought?
