THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT USE THE TITLE CHRISTIAN
to do anything they want.
they're "Christian" so they're excused to do it.
I am very leery of the "honesty" of certain "Christians" because of my experiences with them personally, in person and also in certain communications, here and otherwise.

I've known enough, though, particularly of the evangelical mode, who fit this mold so well.
any means to an end, even if it does include lying and cheating.
seems like they're using the devil's tools to do the work of god.
it shows how unchristian they really are.
and you wonder why so many people are turned off to Christianity.

I would not say it was just Christians. Many of the problems we cna see in the Middle East are due to such notions. People believe that there leaders are good just because their leaders claim to be of their fiath and so they will follow their leaders to war all becuase theri share the same faith. But you can fidn it in all religions and every where in the world.
Also, I would not say all Christians do it. I have known some who have had enough sense to not think like that. I know of Christians, some here on Blogit, who will not defend Bush because they are looking at the man and what he is doing and do not care about his faith. That gives me some hope that the idiot will not get his second term and we might have a chance to fix our country.

I agree with Ariala, that is an excellent last sentence; the whole post makes a very valid point. Unfortunately, it seems that judging people by these standards is an action only performed by those with integrity and clearly this does not apply to christians. Overall, it would appear this is an atheist viewpoint.
