If we apply "love thy neighbor," then we are also attempting all the ten commandments. Jesus gives us the advantage of the comforter, or the indwelling Holy Spirit to help us do what sin makes impossible alone.

I am curious as to how certain parts of the Old Testament translate into modern Christian life. (I am Christian by the way). as to meditating on the law, what laws still apply, since Jesus said that we now live not under law but under grace?
Do Moses's ten commandments still apply or do we merely apply the principle of "Love thy neighbor as thyself" and everything else follows from that? It's a subject I think about often.
