On this day (yesterday) a new network was formed of all the dynamic people who discussed this, including you and me.  Nice to meet you, Witchflower.

Oh, I like hearing that!

As I said, my dad is (was) a big fan of Tom Mix.  I grew up hearing about him and Tony.  I used to watch the movie cowboys on TV when I was fairly small.  I remember Hoot Gibson, Johnny Mack Brown, Wild Bill Elliott, and I had a crush on John Wayne when he was in b/w westerns.  Then I saw Roy Rogers, and everyone else faded into the distance.

Witchflower...
you are doing that weird thing again, lol.  We were just talking about the last of the real cowboys and the old west and here you go posting all the info I had been looking for, re Tom Mix.  Thank you very much.

I know what you mean.
Why, just last night, while watching a rerun of a 2000 show of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" I knew the answer to the $1 million question.  It was about Anne Rice, and I knew it because it was something I had included in this blog.  I think I may have impressed my husband.  Just joking, but it was fun to know the answer.  I don't think the check will be in the mail, though.    Thanks for reading; I enjoy your blogs very much.
