It does, doesn't it.
I didn't look into the subspecies information, et al., but possibly they are all related.  I was just thinking tonight how different cats are from dogs.  All those dog breeds with many different body and head styles, height and weight differences.  Domestic cats are pretty much the same.  There is the Persian-type face and the rest of the cats (I know different breeds have somewhat differently-shaped heads and faces, but they are basically the same), long, medium or short hair, and a weight variation of anywhere from 6 to 20 pounds.  That's it.  You can always tell it's a cat, as opposed to the difference between a St. Bernard and a Chihuahua.  They are still dogs, but so different. Odd.  Thanks for reading.

Thank you.
Not so much a vast knowledge as a strong love of cats and an enjoyment of research.   A penguin blog would be interesting.  I know there are different varieties, but don't know much about them.

Hello!  You certainly seem to possess a vast knowledge of cats.  I love cats myself, and I am missing my cat who lives with my parents and who I had to leave for college.  I wish I could have a cat at the house I am renting, but then I would have to pay a deposit.  I'm thinking about writing a separate blog on penguins because I love penguins.  My dream job would be to work at a zoo or somewhere taking care of penguins.  It's why I changed my major to biology.  Thanks for your comments and advice.  It's much appreciated.
