Sometimes, You Just Know...
...when it's a last-goodbye situation.
Each year, the young people at church would carol for this lovely, old lady named Mrs. Craig.
She would always be moved to tears by our visit, and her little bird would always be moved to sing along with us.
So she always said something like, "Bless you for coming! See? Even my little bird loves your singing so much that he wants to sing along with you!"
One year, it was the same thing, but I began to feel like crying, because something told me that this would be the last time we would be caroling at her place.
